The Path to a Positive Mindset: Unleashing Inner Strength and Happiness

Title: Master the Art of Positive attitude Using Wisdom
“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden

– Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

Each one of us envisions a world wherein we are happy and content with our lives. We all want peace in our minds that is free of conflict and disorder. If we look at the chaos that is prevailing in the world, we can see that it is not at all easy to have a positive approach to life. Why is that?
The disorder in the world is a reflection of the disorder in the human mind, which we all disseminate. We may think we are unique because we identify with the content of our memory, but our minds function in similar ways. We all have many psychological needs which we are not aware of, and we expect others to meet these needs. We get frustrated when these needs are not met and blame others or a situation for the frustration we feel. This is just one example of how our minds work in similar ways. We all experience the same emotions, desire to be loved, feel secure, feel important, and seek validation. Maintaining a positive attitude is crucial.

Many of these patterns arise out of thinking and can cause sorrow, anxiety, depression and conflict that are hidden from our awareness. We assume they cannot be changed and it is just ‘human’. Preventing these problems from arising in the first place is more important.

Since all our problems begin in the mind, the solutions must also begin there. We can do this by understanding ourselves and how our minds work, by simply observing our thoughts as they arise and by exploring what lies behind them. This understanding brings wisdom, which can transform our life. Once we understand ourselves clearly, we can understand others as well and this leads to happier relationships. With the clarity that this understanding brings, our problems can dissolve.
We avoid looking within ourselves, why? All through our schooling, we are educated about the world around us, but not ourselves. We are more aware of the science of the universe than the psyche of the human mind to understand emotions like loneliness, anxiety, or the art of being happy. This understanding brings a sense of balance and stability, without any effort. If we live with anxiety, we may say ‘I am going to try and not be anxious.’ All these efforts do not work for a simple reason. The ‘I’ that is trying not to be anxious, is part of the same thinking process that creates the anxiety in the first place. https://blogs.humanwisdom.me/
As the famous quote by John Dewey says, “Education is not preparation for life; Education is life itself” – meaning that learning is an active process that should occur to enhance one’s living and understanding, not just of the world, but of the mind as well.
If we want to be healthy we need to look after the body and the mind. We know how to look after the body through exercise, eating well and practising yoga. However, we do not know how to look after our minds because we do not understand its process. Meditation, as it is currently practised worldwide, may bring some short-term benefit, but the underlying conditions continue to cause problems simply because they are not comprehended by us.
By exploring the reasons behind our sorrow we may avoid it and discover the secret of happiness. By exploring the many ways our relationships break down, we could live in harmony with others. By understanding the root cause of anxiety, conflict and suffering, we may discover a sense of inner peace. This understanding is not complex and is open to anyone who is willing to look within.Positive attitude: A powerful mindset.
